NAMI Basics this summer! The six session course is taught by trained teachers who are also parents/care-givers of individuals who developed mental health issues in childhood. The curriculum discusses current information about the major childhood mental illnesses and provides the fundamentals a care-giver needs to care for themselves, their family, and their child who is living with a mental illness.
